The UK TV tax is a tax to watch live tv (from any country), on any device, and access iPlayer. In the UK.
If you do not live in the UK, you do not need to pay the UK TV Tax - you simply must abide...

Maybe just a blip...they are perhaps testing things so turn on and off geoblocking at times maybe...
