We weren't told our base station until the first day of our induction course. That was in September last year however so don't know if it is different now.

I know the September course starts on the 1st because I am on it. Not sure about the October one, sorry.

We have just got back from Oz and it was on the news there that NSW ambulance staff were considering industrial action because some of them had had a pay cut. Might be worth looking into if you are...

I've just been offered Brisbane. OH was hoping for Sunshine Coast but never mind. Glad they give you a choice of dates because I still have loads to sort out here. Might try for Feb 2008 intake....

Hi nessie, can you tell me which forms you have had to complete as a tech please. My OH is also a tech and wants to apply but when I applied as a para, I didnt have to do the equivalency part.
