Well i have to agree with big truck as i posted on the H&R transport thread when i was there to see them drivers where walking out and not getting payed and i had to help a freind get back to the uk...

blimey those wages look bad, I thought seafood express was a decent company i couldnt live on those wages no way,

£45 a day 12 to 14 hrs

Do they have tripacks on there tractor units if so you can get a nice big fridge/freezer for the truck from walmart,

Looked in one of the h&r trucks and the driver had a full size...

I spoke to drivers whilst in canada and log books keep getting altered whilst on route say you get stuck in texas for a day then your load is running late you drive for 21 hrs solid then alter log...

I am over in lethbridge in alberta at the moment on a reccie and yes the food isnt as cheap as usa or the uk,
The locals are really polite and talkative we have stopped at a few so called truck...

Those figures sound good but ("BT"s OTR TRUCKING with terminals in manitoba/alberta and sask) might even end up with all uk drivers leaving or might end up with some uk drivers becoming supervisors,...

As i said before it will be hard until permanant residency comes, But there is plenty of companys that pay good money when you are a full pr,


These companys wouldnt be employing us if they where...

My uncle is in bc near fort st john he is on logging 18 wheelers company employed, He is getting $1400cad a week with 10/12 hr days home each night but he says its hard work with some heavy lifting,...
