That's an interesting article, but I'm not sure how acurate it is. I've been involved with the whole process for over 1 year, and they have NEVER said that UK paras equate to Intensive Care...

For Southern Australia Ambulance: Do you have to have a visa already?
I take it they don't do employer sponsored visas?

Has anyone else been offered positions without knowing where they'll be posted?

Apparently you have to go through with obtaining the sponsored visa before they will allocate locations... It seems...

Can anyone confirm how much a P3 earns? The stuff that you download from the QAS site says $77,000 avarage, but everyone seems to think that in reality it is more like $55,000....

I wondered if anyone knew what the NHS Pension situation is if you join QAS. As I understand it, you have 1 year to transfer it, before it is liable for tax.
