Depends on how big the loan and mortgage are ! Plus I don't want you blaming me if you have to go back home destitute ;)

Just be very careful in the first 12 months is all the advice I can give.

It's not " good money " Considering what you have to do for it , But you will get bye on it , Most trucking jobs don't pay that well anyway . So 5k a month would be about average.

All depends on your personal spending habits , I don't know what the cost of living is like in Saskatoon But you should be OK , Get a second wage coming in (wife ?) and you'll be fine .

Well I never understand why guys do long haul (OTR) when I can be home every night /weekend and earn as much if not more :confused:

.25 cents a km is $5000 a month IF you drive 20000k a month , so that will be about $1600/1700 biweekly take home after taxes , you're not going to get rich anytime soon that's for sure.

To be nominated for PNP which then allows you to apply for Permanent Residency to have to do the Long Haul thing.

You will need to decide which part of Canada you would like to live in , Then...

Gremmies figure of 5 to 6k a month seems on the high side to me , Here in Calgary a decent take home pay would be around 4 to 5 K a month, And a lot of drivers are earning less than that (More like 3...

I know a guy that worked for Yanke , Teamed up and working all hours god sends he took home $1200 a fortnight :blink:

Personally I dont think this is any where near enough in Calgary...

Yeah it was quite good the 4-4 but when work goes quiet like it does from time to time wages go down with it. So now I do Tues to Sat (city fuel ) I might have an odd ride out to Banff once a week...

Westcan have been good to me, no reason to leave yet, Although if an other opportunity came along I would consider it just like anyone else.

Yeah there still recruiting and have a load of drivers waiting to come over, But no one can sell there house :(

We got PR last month :thumbup: we were one of the quicker applications think it took...
