It may have been a little less than 5k, but paying the extra for door to door is great and well worth it. I take it you are moving to Calgary? Weather is warming up the temp in the sun on the dial...

We moved back in 08 and we had a 4 bed detached and moved lock stock and barrel. It cost about 5k I think, that was UK to Saskatoon, SK which is about 6 hrs east of Edmonton. WE got a removal company...

We used a 20 footer and we had a 4 bed detached with garage and shed and a 10 year old girl !!! We had room, we did slim down a lot but we shipped the normal..............2 big sofa's, lots of boxes...
