well done SB for telling how it really is. For 6 months now i've tried to persuade OH (the para) to come on here and tell everyone what its really like working for QAS as a para in the brisbane area...

we used commonwealth bank. You simply set up an account with their London branch and when you arrive in oz its converted to an australian one. All you need to do is download the application forms and...

Ballot for the new 12 hour shifts closes on Thurs 20th.
Will be interesting to see which way it goes. Understand a lot of the older QAS paras are unhappy with losing the afternoon shift allowance....

OH is a brit paramedic working for QAS. Yes, it's still used in QAS as the standard pain relief. Stopped using entonox here some time ago as it was considered too costly!!!!!
