They put you up for the whole 3 weeks if you live 45km, I think it is, away from Kedron. They'll put your family up too but I think they charge for this. You get 3 meals a day, not a high...

You move to pay point 2 when you have completed QAS mandatory stuff. That is the 3 weeks induction and ISCEP,s which is their In Service Continuing Education Programme, this is done on line...

Hi Katie,

I found visa process simple. Takes a while to fill in the forms and I must have rechecked them about 20 times. Think I still managed to miss something! but QAS sent info pack as well...

Yep I would say a year from interview to induction is realistic, that's how long it took us.
Everything here works really slowly, I'm afraid that's the pace of life here and you have to just learn...
