I think it is the same wherever you are at the moment. My "ships the same day" order from Michaels that i placed Wednesday is still not even showing as "picked up" by the courier

reminds me of the old Student Loans Company in the UK. I send them a form and documentation for an address change. they send the confirmation to my old address.

Generally smoke alarms get more sensitive as they get older and the radioactive source in them decays

similar story when we stayed in the old faithful inn at yellowstone.
this is a log building , so flammable that the staff are actually trained as firefighters in case anything happens.

When my grandfather was cremated I was amused to see that the container they give you the ashes in looked remarkably like a large quality street container!!!

funnily enough i just don't seem to have tracked my airbus flights in the same way.
smallest thing I've flown in is a Cessna 172 of course :)

totally get it , we booked our PR flight over on a 777 because they were new to the AC fleet

when i went home in the summer i purposely booked at the 787 because i hadn't been on one before.

i suspect when new movies get licenced that digital rights are included in the contract negotiations as standard so Netflix or whoever is involved at the get go

i like the winter/cold when i'm inside and viewing it from the comfort of my condo. I love watching the weather come in across the lake. I love watching the snow flakes swirling around the building....

Personally I never had an issue with what I was paid as a teacher. That wasn't what led to me turfing it in as a career.

when I left my last teaching position there were no physics teachers left in the science department.

Not a single person with a physics degree. 8 people with biology or some pseudo science...

This made me smile, when I was learning to fly, especially in the winter the very nice dispatch guys would keep the plane in the hanger so that i could do my walkround in the warm, they'd often push...
