Well, if you conveniently ignore all the nice bits of the UK, you're correct when you say that Canada is a better place to live. Fancy that!

I wouldn't take anything seriously on that map - FFS, they can't even get the shapes of the countries right.

For example, if you were to discount the Greater London area, the rest of England would look positively pastoral.

I wonder if the Young's pubs in SW London still all have a clear plastic box on the bar with the day's sandwiches in... slowly drying out and curling up as the day wore on. :)

Discovery Channel is particularly bad for that. The narration is childish in the extreme. I could understand it if it were aimed at children, but it's not. And really basic mistakes as well, like...

I'm glad I don't live in the same part of the UK that you lot visit - it sounds awful.
