It's dark. The mountains on the North Shore of Vancouver have floodlit ski slopes that stay open until about 10:30 - 11:00. It's pretty amazing, especially if you get a clear night.

Vancouver is probably a pretty good option for you. Lots of construction work going on, plenty of snowboarding, seems to be a fair bit of diving and enough immigrants that football is reasonably...
