Hello we are still here to, but fed up waiting for news, i sent of the ozzie police check last tuesday and our case officer should have been back in yesterday but no news yet, i think i can only wait...

We had to wait a week between xrays and the medicals but everywhere is probably different.

I couldnt wait any longer today i gave in and phoned our case officer and would you believe it she is off...

The forms were pretty easy but you have to send the payment in dollars which was difficult!! We will be checking our emails all the time now...its getting close.

At last!!!!!!!!!! OHs australian police check has arrived!!!!!!! and its all okay.Sending it off today to our case officer and im hoping to hear something by the weekend...

Hi Joolz we plan to go to the wales meet, we were thinking the same that no-one is on the same visa as us so it would be nice to share stories/info.

Stop worrying....
I had a few staples in mine stat decs/daughters birth cert.etc.
The passport issueing office is UKPA
The address bit leave it blank and the bit about the visa we just wrote the...

I would send off for your ozzie police checks as my husband was there 4 days short of a year on a working holiday visa in 1998 and now that is all we are waiting for, they go to canberra and can take...

I didnt bother using a courier just sent it special delivery/track and trace with royal mail and it got there fine.
I have got a good document off australia house about sending off your applicaton,...

Yes you do need either certified copies of passports or citizenship certs. for your stat declarations.

And by the way congratulations to everyone who got their visa's.

My husbands was sent on Feb 28th and we got his back last Thursday, it took them a week to send a letter to say that we had requested it.

At last finally sent off hubbies spouse visa application today, wont get there until monday, but at least its gone now. Will keep you all posted on the progress.

HI all, my hubbies police check came through at last!! We applied for it on 28th Feb and recieved it in the post today. So fingers crossed should be able to send it all off tomorrow.
