i have my hgv and was told that when i convert over to hc licence, i will be able to have 5 jobs a day as there are so many in brissy...not that i will do that....one good/enjoyable job will suffice....

i dont thrive on a big bank accout although you still need enough to get by...thats obvious... i would still prefer to dive everyday and drive a banger than make 60k a year and stress out to the...

cairns will differ as there isnt the same work up there...its far north and over 1000klms from se qld.. so may differ..definitely hard to find good work unless you are a diver or a chef...:p

hgv driver can make 20-25 dollars an hour in brisbane so would guess melba would be similar...

thanks for the info...we were wondering how we were going to afford a 400k mortgage at current rates and general living on such a wage.... our timing for moving is crap i guess ? :p

are you serious?? my wife is has a degree in nursing and has been offered 46k basic in brisbane which is a lot less than what you state there....why is that ? cant believe some wee trainee 19yr old ...

which nurses job is paying over 600 quid a week? if you dont mind me asking ? :p is that not monthly wage after tax etc ? ..ok, wife just told me there are all different grades...my bad !:D

looking for work in redcliffe/brisbane area.(wife starts as nurse there in june time although could come earlier).i have my articulated truck license (c+e) but been a domestic+commercial...
