Fair point. It was really more a peace of mind thing - since we'd only been here two months or so at that time and had moved out of a serviced apartment into our own place only a couple of weeks...

Hi Howard, I would echo Iaink's concern that you may not be covered under OHIP instantly on returning after a 3-year absence... certainly worth checking.
