Yes that is deffo the best idea, I have a friend who has a visa application going for Aus I keep telling her to get her dogs going before she moves!!

Once they have a clear blood test for rabies you can fly them out 6 months after that test and have no quarenteen if you go before the six months you quarenteen them (ours will be in quarenteen 3...

Thats right if you miss the due date of the shot by even one day the whole process has to be started again and another 6 month wait!.

It does not matter where they had the rabies shot done its the titre test that matters.

If the level is above the required amount then you have to wait 6 months from date blood was taken. So my...

It can be quite daunting but its actually very straight forward.

have just spoken to DEFRA.

all i gotta do now is have the LVI sign his passport to say hes seen the titre test result and is ok...

my little ones next rabies jab is not due till 06.11.09

he had his prior to moving on 07.11.06 so its a 3 year vaccine.

We used par air to transport my little westie chap Archie (bald), they made his travel crate to size for him, its great.

We did however just do the rabies shot at our vets before leaving the UK,...
