I would have thought that tourism and exporting are big earners, I think there will be a big decline in tourism next year which could have a negative effect.

Thing is how much damage will a strong CAD do to the export and tourism industries? when all the big orders go across the border with the weaker USD, its hard to beleive that Canada won't start to...

Jees it doesn't seem that long since it seemed on it's way up what happened? with the exception of the chancellors doom and gloom speech to make it so bad.:(

The 125% ones are going to be a killer N/R B/M AND Mortgage Express all have them with two or three others doing up to 110%. You can move the 95% part but then the unsecured part jumps up by around...

The problem is that surveyors are now using 2006 valuations when pricing, (in Scotland anyway) and therefor people who purchased 2 years ago have the exact same LTV.

Payment shock is the biggest...

There are still 95% mortgages on offer Halifax and Birmingham Midshires still offer them although fee's and rates aren't great. And bristol and west do 95%guarantor mortgage.

Terrible, one of the reasons inflation is so high is because items like fuel and food are so much more expensive, maybe if they reduced the duty on fuel that would bring down inflation.

Also another lender has now withdrawn from new mortgages, whilst lenders are starting to increase their variable rates despite no move in the BOE base rate, which will have some more effect on the UK...
