When I worked on the QE2, the kennels were nowhere near the passenger areas, so a dogs barking wouldn't have been heard (never had any 'barkers').

We used to go up to check on them in the evening...

It was a great job - I was 17 & to be working on the QE2 was just fab :thumbup:

My parents videoed all of the 'Wickers World' programmes - he did a series on board the QE2 inthe 80's (I wasn't on...

Many, many moons ago (back in the mid 80's :eek:) I worked as a kennel maid for Cunard on the QE2 - was the only ocean going liner that took pets at the time (may be different now-a-days).
