Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

Australians slam everything. They're perennial whiners.

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

What I don't understand is this thread has two stars?

I've been visiting this forum for near on 10 years and I still have no clue how to rate threads.

I'm fine with Haylee's position. 2 and a...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

I've only ever had good experiences with Toronto Airport Limo drivers.

One time I landed in Canada and my bank cards didn't work. The fella not only dropped me at destination but gave me $20 to...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

She once had it out with me because I referred to gypsies as errrrrrrrr gypsies.

Her past involved a previous marriage where an English man had walked out on her.

I really have no idea how my...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

This thread is lively.

That's kind of where it ends.

We all know Canadians are a bit on the odd side.

We also know Toronto is a little plain for many things.

But usually I avoid these things. As I said up thread one...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

No sane person would listen to this bollocks. Torontonians do spend too much time trying to justify why they live in Toronto. These band wagon folk are best avoided.

You should not be spending...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

When you actually go and live somewhere you have...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

This is all very odd to me.

At my local pubs we do loads of social stuff. Get drunk. Play Golf. Egg Chuck Sunday mornings if you want.

The banter isn't as good as it was with my mates back...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

Toronto is a bit of a self absorbed place.

Invariably you end up carrying a certain swagger.

Expecting people around them to change with out investing anything themselves.

I don't have a problem meeting people in Toronto. In fact it's a struggle...
