The main beach at the end of Pier Street in Altona is fine, and its clean. Just in case you though that that description applied to all the beaches in Altona :D

Hmmmm Perth - pale skin will probably fry - Brissie - too many spiders, will have to settle for Melbourne and the hope of a sunny day every now and then, has to be more that we get in Ireland anyway...

When we eventally get to Melbourne we hope to move to an area fairly close to the city to take advantage of it. I grew up in London, and then moved to rural Ireland and have spent seven happy years...
