Happy to say that while most of the mods done in the 70s on the house are dire, the electrical system was updated and the knob and tube taken out. It's set up with trips rather than fuses also.

I'm trying to do up a house we just got. It was built in 1906, but was renovated in the 70s and not touched since. I naively tore off some fake wood paneling, expecting to reveal an at least...
