Guys,

the website for scheduling an appointment in canada does not have any slots for the foreseeable future. My E-3 expires on Nov 27th and I have 10 days to leave the US. Only managed Dec 3rd...

appreciate your response - canada it is. now i have to remember how to do it all over again... most responses on this board suggest the canadian embassy usually stamps a day or so after the interview...

my only concern is about the outcome - if one has a better chance.

my HR would be happy to help out. but if its just about a short trip to canada, i could use the vacation...

it appears most people prefer the e3 renewal to the us-based extension via USCIS. any reason for this?

during my interview, the officer only looked at copies of my certificates (bachelors and masters). infact, i offered to show him the equivalency certification .. but he declined.

its working fine on my home computer (Reader 5.0), but it wouldnt accept more than a fixed limit at work (Reader 7) ... i cant figure it out and cannot ask the IT guys for help at work...

i have been attempting to fill the DS-157 online, but its impossible to fill in all the information as it accepts only a limited amount. is it ok to print it out and fill in by hand?

I've been for a few interviews and I dont think it really matters.
You're "interviewed" behind a huge glass window and its not as personal
as you may imagine. I would just dress respectively.
