The reason that people hire Realtors is the exact same reason the Company's hire Marketing Consultants and Advertising Agencies., they know that the professionals make a better job than eager...

Buy For Sale by Owner, then there's no commission, and you can represent yourself.

But if you've never used a good buyers agent then you really don't know what you are missing. A good agent will...

I don't rebate to my buyers or sellers, but any house I buy or sell I pay for a 12 month warranty on the House systems (furnace, HW Tank, Roof Leaks, Electric, Plumbing faults...

The provincial registers sound similar to the situation in England where the title is guaranteed. I don't follow the point about the need for a survey though. In England there will be a title plan...

Are the boundaries of the property not recorded in the Title deeds and kept in a national register in Canada?

Most of Canada no longer work with title deeds. but with a provincial titles registry...

It is a coast to coast franchise Idea, there are several similar companies 1% Realty being one of the better known, But it only works in the higher priced areas, and then not as well as you would...

1) I was being economical with the truth, The selling price is available from the municipality, you have to pay in MB $10 for each title search, and how do you know which house that sold recently...

Its just a lead generating site, the service is sold to Realtors, it costs a Realtor about US$800 per month to belong.

The biggest problem with Realtor.ca is that it brings together information from all the different MLS systems, all using different software.

There is no nationwide MLS, each Board has its own...

I always take photo's during the house inspection of appliances, fixtures and fittings etc.. The home inspector also details the appliances in his report, so I've never had that problem. I also add...

Brits don't like their Estate Agents and they think Realtors are the same.

I have found that the vast majority of Canadian Realtors try really hard to get a good deal for their clients, and work...
