Thanks Centurion...that's exactly the kind of discussion/input that I was hoping for. Maybe it's just badluck that some of these accidents in Victoria have had several fatalities in each incident.

Just wondering how safe Oz's motorways are and what the main contributing factor for the high death toll on Victoria's roads is.
