Yes. They do stamp at the back of your passport but they write 221g and initials of the visa officer.

i am also in the same boat as u. I was told to submit additional information about my employer like photos, tax returns,etc.. its already more than 4 months i am yet to hear from...

I attended my interview today .. Visa officer was pretty much ok with my education and experience and he told me that I am qualified for the visa but he needs more...
