No I'm not showing my age. You can drive a 7.5 tonner on a normal car licence. I've done it. Not sure if there a restriction on newly qualified licence holders though[/quote]

Showing your age there!! a newly qualified car license holder is no longer allowed to drive 7.5 tonne!!! , now limited to 3.5 tonne, I think this has been the case for over ten years!![/quote]

You can drive up to a 7.5 ton GW on a normal licence in the UK. You need to check to see if there is a reciprocal licence agreement between Australia and the country you choose, i.e. if your...
