Well, most Canadians (not "Canadaians") I know (myself included) can name the 10 provinces & 2 territories and their capitals. It's taught ot us from a very early age at school.

And I can't...

I don't know. I carry both of my passports when I travel. I have to leave and enter Australia on my Australian one and I use my Canadian one to enter and leave Canada.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to travel to Canada, as a Canadian citizen you will need a Canadian passport. Is $30/year really too much to pay for the security of knowing you...

So here's an idea. Why don't you just renounce your Canadian citizenship when you go "home"? Think of all the money you're going to save! And, you get the added benefit of not having to worry...
