Re: How does this country survive?

Re: How does this country survive?

The Guardian was sued for libel by the creator John Ryan over just such a story. Ooops!

Re: How does this country survive?

It's the relationship with Mr. Gruber, I worried about as a kid. Didn't anyone else find it suspicious how Mr. Gruber was never entirely clear about what he did in the War?

Re: How does this country survive?

This is typical of the slack attitude undermining Canadian culture. :) It's curds, not cheese.

Re: How does this country survive?

Tim's Boston Cremes are about 250. I know this because I was on a calorie controlled diet in Montréal and lost 12 lbs. It is possible to eat Tim donuts and still lose weight.

Re: How does this country survive?

The last people who should be influencing policy on this are the police. They deal regularly with the utter scum of the earth. How can they possibly keep a proper perspective when their faith in...

What is it with Canada/US and beige? Everything is beige. Were primary colours outlawed in the US in the McCarthy era? Are there on-the-spot fines for sporting...

Re: How does this country survive?

I wonder how much that is caused by the media reports of casual violence. It's certainly creating an atmosphere of "everybody's at it". It's a much smaller step from that to "I can do it too".

I don't agree to that. We're not being "swamped". 600,000 net migrants is only 1%.

Re: How does this country survive?

I'm not particularly. My basic philosophy in life is of freedom. When you and your ilk go around repeating lies about immigrants you make life hard for innocent people who are just trying to get on...

What are you talking about? If this isn't a dialogue, what is? What do you mean by "democratic"? You want us to vote on this?

No they aren't. They are issues which are "hot" at the moment....

Re: How does this country survive?

The original report by Professor Begg talked about much more modest charges for usage of a few pence per mile. His top figure was £1.34, which would be charged for certain sections of the M25 around...

Re: How does this country survive?

Your thinking is clear. "Poles and Russians" (ie. Slavs) should not be given treatment on the NHS while "British" people are waiting for treatment. The Poles lived under such a regime 1939-1945.

Re: How does this country survive?

A blanket charge won't solve congestion, will it? Stupid media. No, the proposals look quite sane until you realize that there's no technology that makes it work. But apart from that, excellent.

Re: How does this country survive?
