My previous dentist (he retired) was a hunter. Although I didn't agree with what he did, I thought he was a good dentist so it didn't bother me. I would have felt differently if he'd got a felony...

He hasn't been charged with anything at this point which makes this petition pretty silly other than perhaps to draw attention to his actions.

He also purportedly shelled out over $100k to settle a sexual harassment claim, so $50k to hunt a lion was probably a "bargain".
