Most sidewalks are socialized but I guess most Americans don't walk anywhere :p

And if you want to sue your doctor the case will be overseen by a socialized judge in a socialized courtroom.

When you add in the cost of patients' time dealing with billing issues, the US spends as much on healthcare administration as the UK does in total for healthcare. It really is a truly staggering...

Vested interests in the healthcare industry and their political lap-dogs have done a fantastic snow-job on the American people, imo, by convincing them that "socialized medicine" would be far worse...

Your point being what precisely? Even though the NHS is publicly funded it, people still do actually work in the UK (unemployment rate is pretty identical to the US).

Indeed. No amount of "rugged individualism" will pay the healthcare bills of someone who's uninsured and has the misfortune of suffering a serious illness. Their fault for getting sick, I guess.
