I agree.

Wish they would put either a gas stove or fireplace in apartments, but seems electric is the norm for apartments.

The lights are not an essential component to the aquariums life support system so a few days without light won't cause harm let alone the few hours a typical outage occurs for, so the only items that...

If in a larger city, find a high rise hotel, chances are they have a generator. All of the large downtown/high rise hotels I have worked in had one.

We were fortunate last night and didn't have the power go out, but many did as the winds were wicked fierce with some area's seeing gusts upwards of 90-100 km/h.

Overnight low was around -8C.
