Me Too! I Lurrve Pork Pies - proper ones, that is! When I was back home on holiday every chance I got I had pork pies (and cornish pasties.)

Agreed. I haven't found anything in NZ that remotely resembles an English pork pie. (yeah, goulds pork pies are imposters, not the real thing at all.)

Indeed. How could I not? My bbq has staged a revolt against the nasty grey SR variety of imposters formerly known as Foodtown home-brand sausages...hee hee :D

Actually, truth be told - I only use Olivio (trying to be healthy, most of the time) - Lurpak is for when I want to be wicked and sinful! Lurpak on hot toast is divine!

Talking of cheese, I have to say that the Brit cheeses are fantastic!
When I was back home over Xmas 05, I couldn't get enough cheese which is far superior to anything you can get here. All those...

Exactly, that is the crucial factor. If it tastes better you should go with the taste, surely? - why cut off your taste buds just to spite your international nemesis? It's only your own tastes buds...
