Yeah, they are still building them. Last year 800000 new houses were built in Spain (more than in the U.K, Germany and France together). Greed seems not to have a limit.

It is. It would be a good idea for you to learn a bit if you are coming to live to Spain. Reading is easier.

I believe you are not very aware about the housing problems in Spain. The number of youths looking for a holiday home is almost not-existant. They are more worried about finding a place to live. Did...

Well...things have changed a lot around here. 15 years ago there weren´t thousands of horrible buildings at 100 yards of the coast for instance. People liked us...now many thing we are like a virus...

Well...for that money I don´t think you can by anything in Spain really...maybe a 30 m. studio in the middle of a wasteland (and there are so many of them in the South of Spain)... There are not...

Well...would you pay 200000 today for something your will very probable be able to buy in 2008 or 2009 for 150000? Or even a lot less...who knows

It will have stopped almost completely by the end of the year. Murcia is one of the most saturated areas in Spain

Yes I own a house in Malaga and another one in Llanes (north of this beautiful country). I bought them when everybody had access to housing in Spain.

The main problem is the Spanish authorities are doing nothing about this problem. There are just too many people getting profit out of real estate sales.
I would say not many Spaniars suffer this...

The main problem is that there are a large number of people making money out of the sale of a property and many of those nice guys don´t give a sxxx if it will be knocked down or not in the future....
