Yet they are happy to believe they have the best military in the world, which is a fully funded, trained and run GOVERNMENT organisation is it not.

I don't buy it, I think it has a lot more to do...

One of the problems being though, that the political will to do it 'properly' hasn't existed. Maybe if it did, they would get their act together.

Some of the NHS is never in debt, other PCTs **** it up royally. Funding has been increased hugely in the last decade and I think right now, it's a case of rationalising what money is spent first on...

Your situation as stated above is everybodies worse nightmare of the system out there. It's the ultimate test of anyone, in any country but to face the cost of stuff out there on top of the everyday...

She does pay, she pays NI and Tax, if shes working. If she cant work due to illness then she should get meds anyway. If she isnt working but could be, well .... that's a different issue.
