Another way to look at it is: what is a man or woman worth? Let's say 25-50 an hour. That's it. Just time. Anyone who charges or earns more has had to put in investment of additional time or capital...

Oops...there are tens and tens of sq kilometres of Melbourne burbs amazing places to live...excluding Richmond, mate..where to start!

Melbourne's CBD is simply utilitarian and convenient.

It used to be said that AU was a good country for trades - I think that is true. Not too sure to be honest - tradies used to be the blokes propping up pubs in the UK.

It depends..this is an area where people will bicker..the reality is some do, some don't. I would say peope work hard when there's a need but underlying that is a sense its only a job. Anglo-sphere...

Hard to say as cheaper areas = lower salaries, or rather, less jobs.

If you are a tradie or a GP and you can work anywhere, regional is cheaper (housing). But still exy. I would say its hard to...

Language may be an issue amd the warmer climes might genuinely appeal..also the Fx rate still helps.Gnerally, you need to work in Finance where English is the language spoken in the office..

Actually even quite recently some labour rates were cheaper. Its not always cheaper in uk. Supermarkets have caught up in AU..(noone whines anymore..)
