Indeed. I do recall all this stuff in the lecture theatre awhile back. Police have a fair amount of power to massage figures long before they get anywhere.

Look. ;) At the end of the day, if you are happy to live where you are because it feels safe then you are winning, especially if that safe area is cheaper than the local equivalent where you came...

agree with this, but from this site, one of the things I've realised is that alot of the migrant places are very nice, touristy even, but you do need to watch out for a lot of anti-social behaviour...

I can see some of this in the upandcoming areas of the once inner city. Affluent people are moving there but doesn't mean there's no crime.

Sure - we'll add community areas to the list of area where there maybe less crime - which is the case where we are too - a couple of burgles in the houses on the main road every few months.

Want to reduce your chances of crime? Just pick a decent place to live. You can tell this by the fact that the median price is higher, and there's not too many tourists (sitting ducks) or any other...
