Yep - my bank used to charge for neither, now they charge a ridiculous amount for both and shaft you on the rate to boot - vermin.

They make their money on the spread (typically 1.5% or so) and there are no fees. Shows what gangsters regular high street banks can be - 5 or 6 % on the spread plus a fee on top - nice work if you...
