Just did it al online....we used www.pomsinperth.com for the accomadation. But there are lots of companies about ......do a search on the forum
We stayed for 16 nights in Perth, and a week in Sydney...

We picked up our keys for the hire car, at the toll booth, spent the next 10 minutes trying to find the car , then drove to our rented accomadation which was easy peasy. Grabed some beers one route....
