Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

What about me? My kids want to move to Aus, I want them to move to Aus and I also want to move to Aus.
Have spent time in Aus and all of us really enjoyed being there. Does that make me a bad...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Couldn't imagine either of mine not wanting to go as they love Australia...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Found it very odd that divorced...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Maybe the years of planning didn't cover every aspect? Somethingscan be taken for granted and not thought about. Can't say really how much thought went into it as don't know the couple. But with Aus...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

I'd have said it took them a month to realise what they'd lost. Must be hard moving to new country with no family support and a new baby in tow and other young uns as well
Maybe they'll...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Very true quote about it always being a dream, it is for many and is better left as such for some. If their kids had been older maybe it would have worked out for them, or maybe in a few years time...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Would be slightly better if they found homes that they'd actually like to live in! For example, the old bloke who was keen gardener taken to house with a pool and very little garden. Maybe winding...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Would be a bit boring if everyone wanted to move to Australia (also would shut down skilled route very quickly). Said he'd have a look then decide (which he did) better than someone who thinks it...

Yeah can see your point about him getting her hopes up. Hope she can settle for what she has and doesn't end up throwing it back in his face at some point in the future

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

I believe their baby daughter chewed the card on most of the decision bits, hardly a decisive decision either way in my opinion lol.

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

He was set for life and could offer long term security for his family? Family business waiting for him to take over and a job he loves???? Why would he want to risk that?
She didn't like living in...

Re: BBC - Wanted Down Under

Seemed to me the mother was the driving force for the move. Not 100% convinced any of the family apart from her really wanted to go there? Wonder why they opted for Perth?
