unfortunately not.

WA POLICE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM CURRENT SERVING POLICE OFFICERS FROM OVERSEAS IN LINE WITH THIS PATHWAY.

Looks like another goalpost has been moved.

Thats how I landed a 457 just over 5 years ago as well. Went around companies just introducing myself, and in the process received a job offer with sponsorship.

For the OP it might be an option to...

Welcome to the site.

As far as I know (this was the case 2 years ago) you cannot just roll into the Victorian police force here on arrival (although they are recruiting very heavily at the moment)...
