I agree with you re-QLD, but we are also getting our fair share of extreme weather.

A month ago flooding in many places & snowfalls in the mountains and also forcasts of pretty extreme rainfall...

I think it was from 2006, but prices have been rising quite sharply over the last couple of years, so I suggest looking at real estate sites as well for better info.
