Good news re Monte Francisco. As you turn off the road from VRSA also the exit road from the Mway....

You immediately come to a roundabout... . The huge resto that is there, that has been closed...

We are the same, re timing, but had to get back after lockdown. Normally its too hot and busy (for us) in high season.

Its true that many of the customers are Portuguese tourists...

We went to the fish resto on the map in my previous post today. 20 min wait for a table, but well worth it. Very Fresh fish, excellent value for money and a great buzz of locals enjoying their meals....

I realise that its a commercial area (unlike Jags/"fusion") and that it 'should' be OK ... But we've all had bitter experiences on CE that the 'devil is in the details'. So I am sure...

Yesterday we went to Plaza Leon Ortega - our favourite plaza in our region. Drinks there and the excellent kiosko, just outside the plaza, diagonally opposite El Jamon, and next to the roundabout....
