The worst thing is when you have people visit and they'll go "ooooh it's expensive here".... Can't get their head around the fact that no, the prices are constant here, it's the pound that's in the...

The US dollar is so ingrained in the psyche of the American public, so much more so than any of the countries that gave up their national currencies for the Euro, that it would be almost impossible...

You can't seriously believe that the Amero is a possibility? The US would never give up their dollar, more likely is that Canada and Mexico would just start using it (still highly unlikely)....

When I asked about Premier, they just said to me, you don't meet the criteria, sorry.... There was no suggestion of being able to pay 25 quid a month.... Bit late now anyway as I've transferred the...

This is only true if you're with HSBC Premier - for those of us with peasant HSBC accounts, you CANNOT use globalview - I can only log into hsbc.co.uk and hsbc.ca separately, I also have no facility...

If interest rates don't come down, then that's good because it makes sterling stronger, hence more CAD to GBP! However, seeing as the British economy is down the toilet, it probably won't make much...

That's a mickey take surely? I've used them to transfer a few amounts over the last few weeks and it's normally been about 0.03 off the proper rate...

Having said that, thinking of signing up...
