I wonder if the UK is seen as a Petrol based currency (I wouldnt have thought there was that much left in the North Sea). That might explain it.

I wouldn't consider selling and moving back even if it was below $1.50. We have too much invested emotionally in the move to go back for a financial gamble.

We came for a new life not financial...

Fredericton is still pretty buoyant I think 5% gain in property prices this last year. (think being the operative word)

We came Nov 2005 and were lucky to get 2.01 at the time when we had budgeted around 2.25. Well my advice is change what you need and don't look back at what might have been.
