we're flying Hobart-Sydney on Sat 20th, doing the Sydney marathon again, then flying to Manchester on Mon 24th on Singapore Air, and back out on 4th Oct.

there's one at each end of the bridge but they only cover the three central lanes-drive on the outside lanes and you can't be caught!

it's only a short visit to see my mum who's getting on a bit and becoming increasingly more frail...didn't want my next UK visit to be for a funeral.

we went to the lake district and had a few nights firstly at the Britannia Inn at Elterwater, then at the Wasdale Head Inn, both fab locations and great food and rooms, and went out into the hills...
