I expect hikes as well. They can't get out of it. The lower cost of oil* will take months to take effect, and that isn't the only reason for the inflation anyway. Meanwhile, BOE, the Fed, and the RBA...

You could be right, Loki; like I always say, no one knows the future. However, the big hope of oil reducing inflationary pressure and allowing a rate cut probably won't be enough to save the UK...
