No, the deadline is set by us as we bought a house and gave a clause that we settle on 31 July to enable us to get jobs (now sorted) and a mortgage for the remainding shortfall - whatever that will...

Are you buying a house?

If not i'd hold out for as long as it takes to recover...

we have got a deadline of 31 july to get our money over (an amount similar to yours) and i'm not snapping...
