As is the case in Canada. Drug dealers tend to want to use handguns and automatic weapons, not hunting/target shooting rifles.

In what way are the guns laws far stricter in the UK than in Canada. Gun ownership is far less in the UK, but it isn't that difficult to acquire shotguns or target shooting weapons in the UK.

I agree. Although the same could be said for permitting people to use vehicles (dead school kids that is)

I simply asked how easily that poster believed she could acquire a gun. I would imagine that, for most in Canada, it would be as difficult as it would be in, let's say, England.

Are you able to point to a time in history from the time that guns were invented, when this hasn't happened? I don't believe that is a recent phenomenon.

The weapon he was carrying in the photo being circulated on his back, appears to be an assault rifle. Those are not permitted in Canada so I don't believe your "freely available" statement is...
