If it's just one then fine. Expect a year to get an OCT credential, (if you can afford not to earn during that year, volunteer as a teacher's aid while you wait).

After that go on the substitute...

It might help if you said what your teaching qualifications are. If it's a straightforward case it'll still take the best part of a year in Ontario.
