I've heard of Angus referred to as Anguish and Apsley (north of Peterborough) as Apathy, and Cornwall as Cornhole.

Apologies for questioning your sanity....however, not sure about your sanity in travelling from Alliston to McCowan/401. Have you tried it on a snowy day yet?
