Even if the proportionally small additional time it might take to enter 200 names into an email field might be perceived by you to be the right thing to do, I'm not permitted to contact applicants...

It's a huge assumption that everyone conveniently applies by email, and that unions would approve such a sifting process. I have to read every single application, whether a page or 10 pages long, and...

From an employers perspective...

There are currently over 120 vacancies where I work, with 4 HR advisors assigned to the different business divisions, and responsible for handling recruitment...
